Who am I?

I practise sorcery and mysticism using alchemical symbolism taken from traditions such as the Hermetic, Tantra and Taoism. Politically I promote an ideology of an individual's sovereignty over their own mind and body, whilst opposing and resisting authoritarianism in all its forms.

I am quite interested in mythological hermaphrodites such as Baphomet, Ardhanarishvara, Hermaphrodite, gods that seem able to change their sex at will, such as Loki, and other gods, such as Thor, who have to disguise themselves as women in order to regain their masculinity. I also created an Hermaphrodite image I call PanGaea based on the Monas Hieroglyph of John Dee.

I have written a book, Kaos Hieroglyphica: Alchemy for the New Aeon, and am working on another.

New Look Serpent

Some of my more observant readers will have already noticed the new look I’ve give this website. The previous design lasted for nearly a year and I was generally quite proud of it, but felt the time had come for some improvements. Hopefully most of you like the new look. The new look has [...]

Sex on the Brain

Well it seems some researchers have found that in some ways lesbians think like heterosexual men, and gay men think like heterosexual women. Well there is a surprise. Yawn. Still no mention of where bisexuals and intersex people fit in with this sort of stereotyping. I am highly sceptical of models of sexuality that present [...]

Curious Serpent

Every so often, between regular articles, I will write a ‘Curious Serpent‘ column for key64 outlining my various thoughts on recent news items that caught my eye.  My first issue covers terror detention, thought crime, creeping police state, China, plastic bags, phages and Alain Robert, the French ’spiderman’.
